If you are assigned to an official please contact them at your earliest convenience. Click on MS Officials (to the left) to find their contact number. If you have questions about Rest Stops, or wish to see a map of the course, click on the appropriate selection to the left. Preliminary Informationsee the notes at the bottom
The Rosters are now broken down into Day 1 and Day 2. Only assigned positions are shown. The final upload of these files may take place on Thursday night. I will NOT be updating anything as of Friday, July 13, 2001 at 6 am local time. This will ensure that everyone has the same data. If changes do occur, you'll have to mark up your printouts manually during the event.
NOTES:I decided to start posting this database as a way of indicating open positions. You MUST keep in mind that there are two guys organizing this. Sometimes the "Boss" and I cross wires. Jerry has the last say and any errors posted here should be attributed to me (NØKKZ) not him. Changes may come fast and furiously occasionally as I post an update, he reviews it and offers his corrections. Assignment ProceduresAssignment responsibilities vary for positions. We try and leave each geographic area as much latitude as possible in staffing their areas. This ensures local operators who are known on the repeaters will comprise much of the day's traffic. The field "Assign Resp" in the database indicates which area is responsible for staffing that position. You are welcome to volunteer for ANY position. However we do not have coordinators for the south end of the course yet, and so, if you wish to be placed at one of those locations, you will have to wait until that area coordinator approves your assignment. Jerry and I:
What do Jerry and I assign??? Well, just the officials, and anything happening on the northern end of the route. We also make MOBILE assignments, Support trucks, motorcycle mobiles, bike mobiles.
