ChartingAprsNetSpy will chart the number of packets that arrive at your station.
ANS will display per minute charts for three time periods. The last 60, 120 or 180 minutes. It will also chart packets per hour for a 3, 6, 12, 24, 48 hour periods and also for 7 days. Of course, you'd need to let the program run for the specified interval before complete data is available. The above example shows a 120 minute chart. The last minute of data accumulated is shown to the right. The first data in this sequence (120 minutes ago) is on the left. The axis labels will update each minute as does the chart itself. The default value is 60 minutes and the default type is All Packets. However you can chart a variety of different types of packets. If you require really detailed charts for long periods of time (longer than 180 minutes) then you'll need to do two things.
When you do you an discover some interesting things (on occasion).
While testing the program, I let it run overnight and found this interesting lull in packet traffic. It starts around 8:40 am and goes until just prior to 10 am. I don't know exactly what was happening but I imagine a main WIDE digi went down temporarily. Anyway, for as long as the program runs, it will log 20 different types of packets' minute by minute totals into a log file which you can examine and chart at your leisure.
