ASCII Delimited Files in Excel

APRS Net Spy exports three types of spread sheet files. They are created from the Main Screen Menu. Click on them and you can download an example of each file.

bulletStation Summary Spreadsheet:
A Report on All Packet Activity listed by all stations.
        Sample File
This report includes:

bulletThe callsign for each station with these data points
bulletLast heard (by APRSNetSpy)
bulletTime Stamp (if included internally in a packet)
bulletDirect - whether or not the station can be heard directly

bulletA count of stations using various types of software. This is dependent on each station properly crafting their Unproto Paths. Most software does this automatically.

Text Files

Well, maybe text file (singular). The program will generate data on the digipeater network and you can export that to a text file. See the Digipeater Data page for details.

If you save a Spreadsheet file for an individual station (setup on the Logging Screen) then it is a fairly simple task to chart out all kinds of data. Below are two charts from the data accumulated over a 14 hour period from KBØTVJ-6:

As you can see, with just a few clicks in a spread sheet, you can create your own graphs of data accumulated.
