Lat/Long Converter

I work with a group that passes latitudes and longitudes around quite a bit. One person will give me the location information in decimal degrees, the next in degrees, minutes and seconds and the next who knows?

The idea, you can enter the latitude and longitude in any format. Above, latitude is in degrees and decimal minutes, and the longitude is in degrees, minutes and decimal seconds. Click on a conversion button and your data is in the format you wish. You can copy the data to the clipboard. It is formatted like this:

-104.989433°

Download the zip file and unzip it anywhere on your computer (an empty directory/folder makes removal of the install files easier). Double click on SETUP.EXE, and the program and it's associated files will be installed in the folder c:/program files/countdown. If you wish to select another folder for installation, you can do that during the setup procedure. The program will then appear on your Start Menu in Windows.

If you have downloaded any version of the full installation (above) with a version number of 1.0.0 or later, then you can simply download this "Lite" file. It contains only the executable program. Unzip it, and copy or move it to your LatLongVert folder and you have updated to this version. See notes in VB Runtime Files for explanations.
