More Lexus Pictures

Had to take it into the mountains to see how it performed.

Pretty incredible. I had to turn off overdrive to keep the car from jumping from 3rd to 4th on the climbs up I-70 to Eisenhower tunnel. But the car didn't seem to be working too hard in third so it felt right.

Round trip gas mileage from the flatlands south of Denver to Breckenridge (I-70) and back (along 285) came out to 24 MPG. This even having to slug it out in third on the way up. Of course, the trip back was all (mostly) downhill so I was probably averaging 40 or more miles per gallon in that direction.
