If you don't have the Visual Basic V 6.0 runtime files then download a copy of Vbrun60sp5.exe. 

The current versions posted of most programs were compiled with Visual Basic 6 with service pack 3. However, testing by multiple users has indicated that the above service pack 5 runtime files will work with these programs.

I have upgraded to SP5 and so future versions will require that set of run times. I will make note on the download page of the requirement for SP5 files when each update is posted.

About Full vs. Lite Downloads

Every Visual Basic program relies on various modules to carry out its tasks. In order to ensure you have all these modules, they are packed in the Full Installation file.

Once you have these files installed on your system, you do NOT need to download them again. So, for each new version of a Visual Basic Program I write, I post both the full installation file and a "Lite" version. As long as you have downloaded a full installation of the program that contains all the ancillary modules, you can upgrade the program by just downloading the "Lite" version.

Occasionally I will add some feature or functionality to a program that requires new modules to be distributed. In that case and for that version only, I post the full install file only.

Thereafter, I post both the Full and "Lite" versions. But, I make special note of which version of the full install you MUST have placed on your computer in order to have all the necessary modules to run that program. So, keep this in mind when selecting the "Lite" versions of the programs available here.
